Well I'm old of course, but I did fly down to TX to meet an online friend once. We had chatted on the phone, emailed etc etc. I looked online and doublechecked she was a real person. We had a blast.
My BFF in Scotland I plan on flying over to meet one day too.
But for a teen girl to meet up with a guy she met online is just stupid and dangerous. I know why they do it, hell I was teen once and know all about the enticement of it. But don't do it!!! And if you must, at least look out his court records online and check the pedophile pages first.

i've met 2 people from here. One (still my gf) we met in a public place as we arranged to have coffee. She bought along mum and dad and I bought along mum and my sister. It wasn't going to happen at all if there wasn't anything less! So I can say that we took precautions.

And I met the 2nd person from here around university as we in a cla** together at one stage. So yeah.

I still think its really dodgy if you're doing one on one. In a public place yes is better than somewhere quiet, but I would strongly encourage people to take a friend along with them. You can never be over-prepared.
