19/F/Port Hueneme, California Join Date: Oct 2007 | I have an uncle who is a compulsive liar, but he's made some pretty extreme stories and almost screwed things up for his own side of the family, dear. I think what's been said is true come to think of it, you're only lying because you're hiding something and you have an insecurity either with yourself or with your life (well it involves you any way)
My uncle hates himself, he still lies and screws with people.
Even though he's married he cheats, and goes on those phone chat-lines to talk to women, lies about how he looks, sends pictures on his camera phone to them, but they're pictures of their next door neighbor, he makes up stories of how he has a ferrari but how he misses his Bentley and how he's going to be in the music industry etc. and I must say that is the total opposite of how he really is.
His next door neighbor is a very attractive metrosexual trying to get into either modeling or acting. While my uncle is a morbidly obese, lazy stoner who has no car and relies on public transportation begging his wife for money to go somewhere.
He hates himself, he hates his life and how he is.
And I hate him too.
Don't turn into him. Look at things you are happy and content with in your life, and whatever you dislike about you or your life do your best to change with so you may have some positive truth to provide. Make something of yourself, learn to love yourself and if you have flaws you can't change then learn to be more content with them, because we are only human.
Sure, I hide behind the world through makeup, wear corsets to appear thinner, and never speak of my imperfections. But I do have them.
Accept that you are human and not a God/Goddess
