Stop crying a river of tears for these crims. If they weren't low enough to hide stuff in body cavities - and as for trying to bring the emotional stuff in by mentioning the 11 month old - if there weren't scum who would use kids to hide stuff in - then it wouldn't be necessary.

So cctv can't be used because it would be against their rights - awww diddums, well they can't have it both ways, or would the rights brigade prefer the crims just get away with hiding drugs and weapons? Can't help thinking it's just another "support the criminals and stuff the innocent".

As for xrays, get real it isn't going to happen. Xrays are radiation - they are harmful.

We're having a conversation and if youd like to put in your two cents, go for it. But these are peoples opinions and EVERYONE is entitled to one without someone attacking it. I'm trying to keep this thread clean of argument. I'd love to hear your two cents without implying that what everyone else says is stupid. There's really no room for rudeness in this thread. I may not agree with what others say but I take it into consideration and I don't judge. Asking the same from you.

perhaps it they just x-rayed people then there would be no peoblem like violation, no?

X-rays are ionizing radiation. They are harmful. The effect of radiation is cumulative. This means that every X-ray you have done increases your risk for cancer.

Have you ever noticed how the X-ray technician at the hospital puts on a lead gown and then goes into a different room to actually operate the machine?

Regular, even monthly, X-rays would lead to significant increases in cancer rates among prison inmates.

Okay, heres a 'different way' all the prisiners that was polite and considerate when they were stealing or killing or abusing thier victims should be treated to polite and considerate searches and all the ones that were voilent and nasty will just have to deal with it the best way they can.The punshment should fit the crime, or if ya can't do the time don't do the crime.

I think that there should be a certain level of prison to require cavity searches, but when it's necessary they should adhere to the rules annd have only guards of the same sex doing the searches.

I like getting freestuff and I'm on my way to getting some cool stuff here, and here .
