Wait a second, I just realized something. The recent hyphy movement is sort of similar to the old hippie movement. I suppose it's a coincidence that the names are similar (a bay rapper called it hyphy because when he was a child, his mother said he was hyper but he pronounced it "hyphy" ), but I've noticed some similarities. They both like using drugs and the way they carry out their movement is sort of similar (the hyphy movement includes dropping out of society in certain areas, like with drugs and how you spend your free time.) I guess this belongs in the rap section because that is the main way the movement is represented. Does anyone have any comments on this idea?
