i believe the man should be consulted pre abortion if ness,but the woman always has the last say,if she agrees to keep the baby yeah he should help with the up keep,but if she chooses to terminate there is no up keep to pay.

i took it as a general statement, not one in context of this thread. i was pretty tired when i replied, and didn't note which topic it was in that changes my answer a bit.

lame argument... yeah, o.k. but in a psychological profile of some of you, your just fanatics, vs an actual intelligent being. i see abortion growing fast real fast... remember the movie ---- 300 ------ Spartans... they dropped deformed babys off a cliff... to me abortion is barbaric and we need to move past it.

in other words we're all liars and only you understand. what a load of crap. and your intelligent being (not that i think there's no god, i'm not a strong atheist) is just your own personal feelings that you can't stand up for without saying "and god agrees with me so there." THAT is lame.

I would be more worried about countries with poverty so severe that babies with deformities are taken into the jungle/wilderness and left to die because the parents have no means to raise them.

a jaguar comes up and eats an abandoned baby... hum, wild,

i think men and women will be able to get along some day,
abortion, not holding people accountable for their actions, that sort of thing, really wont help the situation out,

can a man get everything in writing before making a child with a women? so he can have some sort of an out-standing claim?
Cause If this is what everyone wants than people out there need sex in writing...

My stance. If the father has no rights at all, pre-birth, why should he have to do anything post-birth?

Well, I think that if the father has the right to put in a bid, so to speak for the child, then he should be financially obligated. There are many ways for the situation to play out. In an ideal situation, the guy would want to be a part of the kids lives...but there are few ideal situations.
