Two questions. When you purchase your next car will gas mileage play a more important role?

Will you pay more for a car that gets better gas mileage?

Oh, those from other countries how many miles/gal or Km/l does your car get?

1) Yes.

2) Probably not.

(my current car gets 30 mpg highway, 24 mpg city. Next car will be better.. eyeing the VW Golf and Pontiac Vibe. Gotta be a wagon-style car for diving.)

40 miles? WOW! I want.

My car's okay but requires premium gas due to screwy engine type, so THAT in itself will make a difference in my next vehicle purchase.
