i hav e swindowss xp and in my azutoexec file i have a load instruction that doesn'tswork. someone told med that in xp it is a
in cmd. i pujt a dos window and typed cmd but i gotg the message that
load is not a reconizable. maybe i need a path. tghe only problem is
i don'tg know where the dos commands are. thank you.

Load is not and has never been a DOS command.

Windows XP is not based on a DOS OS the way Windows 3.x/95/98/ME were. There is no DOS layer on Windows XP. CMD brings up a command prompt interface that looks and works like DOS, but it is not DOS.

What are you trying to accomplish?
