ive had Hepatitis A for about 4 weeks now, and im just getting worse the doctors cant understand why im getting worse

anyway. i have that to worry about, and for the fact that all the time i was in hospital my boyfriend never visited me once, and he STILL hasnt visited. He deceided to split up with me last night because he thinks 'its the best'

im abit hurt, but suppose i knew it was gonna happen, and hes not worth it anyway seeing as he didnt visit me.

but its hurt me more that my best friends refuse to visit. well they dont refuse, but they just havent seen me! theve both seen me twice in 5 weeks!!!!

its really hurtful, and its like they dont even care that im seriously ill i dont know what to do

Well your bf and best freind turned out to be asses. If they really liked you they would not care.

I know it's really hard to handle. Sometimes young people just do not know how to handle illness. That doesn't make it right and certainly doesn't help make you feel better, but maybe it'll help you know it's not so much about something lacking in you as it is something lacking in them.
I'm sorry you're ill. Hang in there. Eventually you WILL get better.

Okay, I know you meant they wouldn't care that she had hep. but when I first read that I pissed myself laughing thinking you meant if they really liked her they wouldn't give a damn about her.

Don't think about them too much, they're not worth stressing over plus you must not be stressed because it will just be detrimental to your health and try to get plenty of rest. Just hang in there. Take care.

I agree totally with Vizzy, it is something wrong with your "friends" not you if they can't come and see you.

you may have gotten it from your bf. does your liver hurt? what meds are you on? do not drink.

yeahhh my liver hurt like hell. i cudnt move for it pressing on my other organs...im over it now thanks

still recovering though!!

it was from glandular fever, but he did have a cold when i was with him....so they think he gave me a cold which turned into glandular fever which turned into virual hepatitis A
