Hi every one
my pc has been attacked by a virus which are multiplying in every folder of my pc.
I used norton anti virus,Symantec anti virus n Spy ware terminator.But the virus is still there.
After scanning it just reduces its quatity but on opening any site or folder it just again multiply.
Please help me.

can you scan several times in a row? I know that would take forever, but it might work. Otherwise, take it to a professional.

wel i scanned it several times but no use . I dont want to loose my previous data by formatting it.

Back up all the data you need onto a disc, then reformat it?

Use f-secure or gdata to do an offline scan without starting windows. This allows to get rid of it. Important is that you use or a boot cd out of the sales box or if you download you do it on a clean pc and you use it there to build a clean boot cd. You cannot produce clean boot CDs on an infected system.
PS: northong gives you the name of the virus I guess. Before deciding for one or the other look at the site of the producer whether they list it as known and repairable and which strategy they do suggest.

stat it in safe mode then use hyjackthis that will work

Wat is the name of the viruii?

Considering this is four months old, she either got it figured out or the computer died

be careful how many Anti viruses you run at once if you put the wrong to on there your computer wont start up without being in safe mode...
