tornado watch

slight cerculating of the trees
windy 25 mph or more

if available in county your cell phone may have lost a bar of signal how that happens molocules meet protons in the wind the cell phone is a air wave phone putting out frequency
not a land line

tornado warning
there may be a tornado heding your way
cerculating is in the trees high wind
if wind stops suddenly get under ground imediatly
what to do
get in a under ground shelter if provided if available
get to lowest level of home
there have been severel well known cases for tornado sirons not to go off
go to closset put matress in dorrway put severel blankets cover face

types of tornados

f1 shengles may come off

f2 siding and shingles will come off

f3 serious tree damage and damage to house

f4 no roof left or some of one
f5 home lifted off ground


caution

get out of car now
it has wieght wich will lift off ground

GET OUT OF TRAILER OR MOBILE HOMES!!!!

More impressive if you look at the actual mph for each category:

F1: 40-72mph
F2: 73-112mph
F3: 112-157mph
F4: 207-260mph
F5: 261-318mph

And, technically there is a F6: 319-379, although these are termed "inconceivable".

Check here for more specific details.

And, yes, I've been through a number of tornados, including F4 & F5. Sort of fun & interesting to watch.

EDITed to add: Even a few of those "serious" categories while in a trailer. There are some instances when leaving during the midst of a tornado is not the brightest of ideas.
