it seems that with all the new technology the young generation have recieved (ipods, Mp3's) no one is listening to the radio anymore. i mean sure there are podcasts but nothing beats good old fashioned radio.......

except my ipod.

i used to love the radio between marriages,as soon as the kids went to bed off the t.v went and on come the local radio,it was nice just to sit in my own company thinking and unwinding with the radio on as background noise and loved it after 10pm cos they played all the soft songs.

Terrestrial radio was probably great back in the day, but in recent years, it's went down the tube. In my opinion, the only good radio station left is WSM in Nashville, but it's statticky on my stereo, and the Grand Ole Opry and Eddie stubbs are now on XM, so I haven't listened to terrestrial radio in forever.
