For those of you who have never been to America what do you think it is like? are there any stereotypes you think of? or any assumptions that seem to be widespread?

For those of you in America what stereotypes and assumptions do you think are true and which do you think are complete crap?


Hi!!!!!

Emo is one of the biggest now I think. It's gotten SO big. But I don't know what the real definition of it is, I always thought of it as a new generation of Goth. There's too many different ways to describe it I don't know which is true.

one thing I do know is that they typicallly are depressed to the point of cutting, but I've seen people labeled as emo before that certainly don't do that.

I know Emo and goths at my school are pretty much the outcast, but they found others and emo kids and goths are fine right now. Most people assume emo and goth are the same and they are both depressed, suicidal satanist.

Yeah I had it when I went there, very good indeed. Even the pepperoni was good, and a lot of the pepperoni we get on pizzas here isn't that great. One thing I regret was not trying the cheesecake there, I have to next time I go.
