I recently started the gym and i usually like go on the treadmil and cross trainer for ages. I usually work up a sweat but when i do aerobics i feel like ive done more, even though ive only been doing for like 45 mins at a time. Does anyone else get that?

Both are, really, about equally good.. in slightly different ways, depending on how you use the treadmill.

Don't sweat the difference. Use both. Just keep getting your heart rate up for a little while a few times a week.

I just use the treadmill because I like to zone out. I don't like people, much less exercising with them.

if i understand correctly
you will build up past that when your cardio catches up with the excercise and you wont feel it as much then

just keep doing both. they work different parts and muscles of your body.

or you could always alternate...one day use the treadmill, the next do aerobics.
