If that's the case then your headaches appear to be induced psychologically by yourself.

There must be a way, therefore, to cure them psychologically. IMHO

I don't know like I've said I feel like I have tried everything. My mother suffered from terrible miagranes as well. Until I find something that stops them I'll just have to pay for the pills that make them go away once I get them.

I think it's outrageous that you pay $149 for 6 pills.

I agree it is outragoeus but , my only other choices are to deal with it the pain which , without maigrane pills can last up to three days or go to the emergency room and pay $1100.00 for them to keep me in a room for seven or eight hours and give me a shot for the headache. A few moths ago that's what i had to do. I was vomiting every pill I would take up and my head was killing me so I had no choice at the time, that trip cost my insruance company big time .

I just thought I'd post a copy of the receipt since some of you are having a hard time beleiving the price of the pills, it's kind of got me wondering what you people pay for prescription drugs there This was a script for three medications and as you can see only one of them was uder $100.00 . The other one there is a months supply which means I have to pay this price each and every month.

Yeah , kind of makes you wonder what it would cost at another pharmacy huh?

I go to wal-mart because they have me in their system and it's just easier for me , but I am thinking about checking around to see what the same meds. would cost elsewhere. I'm sure the prices are similar.

Good greif!!! I can't believe its so expensive!! I too am a Migraine sufferer. Hemiplegic Migraine to be specific and for years it was confused with aura until a neurologist pointed out that the loss of the whole one side of my body was too severe to be Migraine with aura.
I use Sumatriptan injections, Tramadol and Dihydrocodeine and as my record attack is 16 days if it weren't for the NHS i'd be bankrupt!!
I don't know much about the US but does your health insurance not cover your therapy??
Have you tried accupuncture??

I had my first ever Migraine the other day and I really hope its something I never experience ever again. I could do nothing but lie in a nice quiet dark room trying to stop myself being sick. Thankfully my vision never went!

$149 IS expensive but definately worth the money if it stops the pain!

wow, those are some outrageous costs for things that only alleviate the
symptoms and don't fix the problem. you should really consider seeing a
chiropractor to determine the cause of the headaches and find out if it can be
fixed instead of just covering up the symptoms. my wife used to be a
migraine sufferer for 7 years. since being under chiropractic care she has not
had a single migraine. it all depends on what's causing your migraines as to
what needs to be done. but i know for sure that a lack of a medication is not
causing your headaches.

good luck in getting it resolved!
