unless she is saying it about the class i wouldnt worry about it sounds like it might be about society itself. but if she is directing it at someone i would take some action as you do now know the meaning of the word.

well as long as you or no one else is taking offence to it. then it sounds ok. if you dont know the meaning of a word arnt you supposed to ask your (ENGLISH) teacher? especialy a word that isnt common they probably want you to ask what it means.

i dont want to bring him any enjoyment or satisfaction whatsoever. the less interested i seem in english the better! payback for years of torture!
