I went to Google (of course) for more info on his statement- and i did find the correlation between the 2 but Bob Marley still isn't an example of ska.

ska is pretty much the best type of music out there! a lot of ska these days has horns in it. ever heard "sell out" by reel big fish? that's an example of third wave ska and it's one of the few big ska hits that's been played widely on the radio.

in reply to the guy who said bob marly is not ska he is (sadly)right but the way you said it makes it sound like he had nohing to do with ska which is not trew.
erlier it was explained that ska has a direct relation with reggae whitch is bob marlies kind of music

and ther are meany types of ska like punk ska rock stedy ska hell ive evin heard mombo ska hear and there, so breaking ska down into eliments such as band info and single examples is just stupid

i agree with skafather, bob marley is not ska, but i see how some ppl could say that bc marley is raggae, and raggae originated from ska. and they are very similar i many ways but marely is better classified in raggae.
