I have an art assignment - a talk on Roy Lichtenstein, a pop artist, but I need help!! I can't find any information, except for wikipedia, but that wasn't very helpful. I also have to pick one of his artworks to talk about, but personally I don't like his artwork - and his most famous works are just parts of comic strips which he enlarged.

Tbh I'm not really into pop art, but I guess looking through his art, this one caught my eye:

You could atleast focus on how it's more abstract than alot of his other work and the shade/colour contrasts

I know it's old fashioned, but try the library. Those big heavy things with paper in them can be quite helpful. The internet is not the only research medium.

Do you have a local art gallery? Call them explain who you are and what you want and see if they can give you any info on him.

I love Roy Lichtenstein. He was born in NYC. His paintings are based on comic book strips because he was inspired by them and the way they printed. He did a lot of love and war scenes. It seems like misunderstood pretty much has you covered on everything else. I recommend you check out his painting called "Wham."
