People differ in their tastes as to what makes technology worth while. After you sit around for a while you come up with a pattern and it seems long pass due the day we have something worthwhile to look at. The only real invention interesting enough to bring up is OLED for flatscreens. I would like to think that there were enough people to see into what this might look like. The new Honda Civic is such an example. They makes a movie called Twilight and you catch vampires during the day, rather they turn out to be werewolves.

Technology has always been on the rise - every decade brings new inventions and improvements.
Just consider computers for one example, from the huge tapereels filling several rooms in the 1950s, which could do what a 1970s pocket calculator could do, and from a 1990s desktop PC to a 2010s smartphone, via many gadgets along the way.

Then there's public transport, from the Omnibus of a century ago to the current plans for space tourism and the plan to stop building petrol-driven cars within the next couple of decades.

The same goes for film technology, weapon technology, robot technology, agricultural technology, architectural technology, and so on and so on.

And one well-directed CME could render most of it no more useful than a rock!

Though many of those screens could still be used as a Black Mirror

I hooked up two screens to my video card today. In the past this had to be done. I'm sure those old timers could teach us a thing about technology
