If you speaking about the police officer and that dude who jaywalked the arrest was justified.
This dude( note I didn't say colored dude) took off his hoodie and challenged the officer. It's obvious the police officer feared for his life.
Did the officer fired his weapon ?
Nooooooooooo. The officer subdued and not shoot him as required for self defense.
Arrest made...end of story.
Time to eat at Chick-F-le.

Lynn had a B-Day party.
1 friend ran up a $38 bill.
told us the group was short.
we payed by phone.
Lynn heard how her friend lied to us.
that got her mad.
then... yep then
another friend brought her left overs home by mistake.
then put the food in fridge with human waste.
that got Lynn more angry.
then we finaly get to talk to his mom and hear that he hallucinates.
the food is ok.
She will bring it over tomorrow.
then she calmed down.
then she tried to take a shower but lost it.
water and soup all over.
at those times, we need a 3rd person to calm her down.
over the years, the cops have show progress.
the last talk I had with chief noble, and the talk I had with a gal cop at the hospital once had me thinking I could call for help and get help

I am sorry for what happened to you and I wouldn't have wished it on anyone. Regardless of the reasoning, regardless of what had them running upstairs, it doesn't seem they should have done what they did.

Have you tried to file a complaint or seek legal recourse?

I hope so brother. Legal matters most often require the lawyering profession. And someone with some experience in the workings of law enforcement should hopefully be able to make sense of it all.
