Women were second class citizens, and legally paid less than men for working the exact same job. Yup.. I can see why you'd like it.. It was the beginning of the end of the age where white men held all the cards. Maybe that's what they mean by "taking their country back!"......   not if I can help it.  | ||||||

I love my country, but not your president. Anyway, as I said, I was a kid through most of the '50's, and things were good for my family. Everyone was working, there was much less government, farms were making a living. My family had no complaints. Sorry about your situation back then. | |||||||
