Actually I've only just found it.

The simple answer is because he is single minded. His only aim in life is to prove to God that people will not worship him without some form of bribe. He doesn't care who suffers as long as it distracts people from the truth.

On top of that, as Paul says, he can appear good when he wants.

(2 Corinthians 11:12-15) "Now what I am doing I will still do, that I may cut off the pretext from those who are wanting a pretext for being found equal to us in the office of which they boast. 13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light[/b}. 15 It is therefore nothing great if his ministers also keep transforming themselves into ministers of righteousness. But their end shall be according to their works."

Another reason I am so determined to stick to God's word, and is understanding of it. I do not want to end up as one of those "false Apostles" that Paul mentions.

For one thing God didn't give Stan anything like equal power, he didn't have it before he rebelled and had less afterwards.

For the otehr thing there was a question to be answered, and yes, in the short term simply destroying Satan would have said exactly what you in some posts here exactly what you accuse God of, it would have been a bullying tactic, instead of which God is allowing him to try every way he can to win, and at the same time showing the still faithful angles that no matter what Satan tried there is no way he can win.

By the time the issue is sorted, and that will be soon now, there will be no way it can ever be raised again, so rather than a "quick fix" this is a ""once for all time" fix.

Also, any who serve God, be they human or angelic, will do so, not because they are afraid of any threats He may make, but because they realise it is the right thing to do.

And finally, as I have shown before Hellfire is an distortion of an illustration perpetrated by the Apostate church to control people. It is not a truly biblical teaching and is way outside of God's personality.

The reason it doesn't make sense, no matter how you tweak the mythology, is because neither demons nor hell exists (other than human demons that is), and God doesn't interfere. It's amazing how simple things get if we throw out the stuff that isn't reasonable.

He doesn't punish the bad. He tempts you into doing bad things.

I do NOT believe that there is a special character such as the Devil, or God for that matter. I believe that God (and the Devil notion) are within us all and everything that is. If "God" created the Heavens and the Earth, did God also create the "Devil"? Isn't God ALL powerful? Why doesn't "God" just make the "Devil" behave? Can you see how strange this all sounds?

I believe religion is so confusing, that there is no way to understand any of it. Coming from a very cult like/religious family, I STILL do not see the point of it all. Of course being of a Seventh Day Adventist family, I'm sure people might say I in fact did NOT experience real religion. No matter who speaks to me, what part of the bible I read, or what religion I observe, I don't understand any of it. Here it is, black and white, in my opinion.


God is evil because he punishes in harsh ways, the devil apparently spoke logic and was cast away, nearly everyone in the bible ate way too many shrooms or smoked weed, Jesus possible traveled to see Buddha and came back to teach of peace (but obviously it all got twisted).... And NO ONE KNOWS NOTHING!

God created all evil.

This is a good movie that raises some questions.

Anyone ever put Devil or God on trial and prove beyond the shadow of a doubt who did what? I think its kind of unjust to condemn the Devil or god, after all, how do we really know either does anything, other than the fact that its written in a book? Is the book that its written in enough to pass judicial muster and jurisprudence for conviction or exoneration?

Yes. Just as the Bible tells us. One of its greatest intuitions...

Isaiah 45:7 ;- I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these [things]. ... from the King James Bible Online (KJV Bible).

Such are the dualities in which we live and some take to be final.

Yet as created things they are not real in the same sense as the "ground of being" (the Divine "himself"/"herself"/"itself" ) is "real".

The Hidden Ground of Love that is revealed when we go beyond the dualities, revealed as Grace, gift to the "pure of heart".

No, He (if He/She/It exists) merely created the universe to spawn us with the ability to choose between good and evil. Ergo, only we create all evil, all lies. Evil is the choice not to do good just as a lie is an attempt to obscure the Truth. Only humans can lie. Even God cannot lie because, as I believe, He is the embodiment of and the same thing as, the One Whole Truth.
