| SparklyKatie \m//O_O\\m/ ![]() Sheffield, United Kingdom | #1 Just watching it on the news, an area the size of France and Germany combined is underwater. I hope you all stay safe there. The speed of the floods are mind blowing. I'm going to donate some money, not much but I hope it helps. Anyone else who wants to can via this site. link [www.qld.gov.au] | |||||||

last_wave_of_summer![]() Canberra, Australia | #2 The QLD floods are amazing, I lived in Brisbane not long ago and worked in Ispwich so knew a few people affected by the floods but luckily all are alright. Meanwhile on the weekend I get news that in the Vic floods my Grandpa and my 2 sisters had been told to leave their houses as the waters raise. Last night I spent the evening watching the water from the river at my back fence creep closer and closer.

Demented![]() , Australia | #3 From memory there was a fair bit of rain in Queensland, but it's the Wet Season in the Territory at the moment so most of the water is flowing down and through Queensland, and now appears to going further down south into Victoria. Now if that's fact or fiction about Victoria I dunno, but that's what plainoldme told me through an Email.
