| FindAStory Deleted ![]() Orange, | #16 @Willi Said ![]() i can think of easier watch towers to build. and to navigate to and from, not the best shape for that. a pump to bring water from the nile, if the underground and on ground ways of getting water in a way the pump would need. then i can see the sphynx in the nmiddle of a giant built in pool. the slot size on the pyramid mathing the hight of a wavelengh brought that in. those shafts have interesting doors. was it ever written for the king to open doors as he assended? there is a water fountain someplace. real old.stone type construction if you throw a bucket of water in it, it pumps it back up. i wanna build one one day that works. i tried to make one once. Well, I can say for sure that Kufu's pyramid was the tallest building ever built for thousands of years. Seems to me that makes it a tower. I'm sorry. I don't understand the rest of your post. | ||||||

If we dismiss the idea of space travelers, and we concentrate only on the thoughts of what mankind might need, water comes to mind. The Sphinx from what I understand has unexplainable water damage on the bottom of it. It also sits in a low lying area. And if the one video showing what a guy built as a miniature does match up with what actually exists, the original Pyramid may have been a giant water pump. It would explain the need for perfect seams. And wouldn't it be cool to have a giant pool with fountains in the middle of the desert? Maybe the other pyramids are copies because they have the hyrogliphics within them. A water pump doesn't need writing inside of it. So I guess the question I would have, do the mechanisms exist that are shown within this video?

| FindAStory Deleted ![]() Orange, | #18 Hydraulic rams are relatively simple devices, so I think the Egyptians could have used them, but I think that we should have some evidence like a picture in a hierogliph before we speculate about that. About perfect seams? Do you mean no space between blocks? That sort of construction may be common stone age construction, like for example Machu Picchu built by the Incas. | ||||||

Prefect seams in a stone age civilization...Like Pumu Punku... How did the builders move, lift AND fit those rocks so perfectly? It is an age old mystery. Machu Piccu was built much later.

The Eqyptians knew a lot about how to control water, so maybe they could have diverted the Nile River water to the pyramids. I have read about the archaeological digging in Gizi. As far as I know, the digs have found tombs, not plumbing, but I don't know enough about this to help you guys, so I wish you luck.

Coral Castle that kinda in scale of one man? he built at night? i wonder if the pyramids got built at night...

There are at least two archaeological sights in Egypt that could be related to Egyptian efforts to redirect the Nile River. One of the sights has what appears to be a dam and the other is boats made of Lebanese cider. Both of the sights must have had something to do with water when they were built, but today they are no where near the river. Sorry that I don't have a footnote for this, but I do remember reading about how the archaeologists don't know why the Egyptians build the dam and boats so far from any water. Maybe one explanation is that they intended to bring the water from the river. There is one place where there is no doubt that the Egyptians redirected the flow of the Nile River. They built a canal from the river to the Red Sea sometime during the New Kingdom. I think that maybe the Persians, the Greeks, and the Romans maintained the canal, but Arabs didn't.
