a elderly neighbour of mine bought me the album by vera lynn, never heard of her as i am 25 i dont listen to music like that normally, however i put it on before and the song abide with me made me cry, this is one of the most beautiful songs i have heard and i recommend you all to give her version a listen.

wish all the people that are angry and fighing could just listen to this not just in the war just in general

I have always thought that Vera Lynn singing that song to be very melencholy.
It makes me very sad in ways that I don't dare say.
