That was one of my first lseeons as I got deeper into the culture as a young man. Someone had said some bad things that were untrue about me. I was fight'n mad. An elder asked me if I had taken the time to pray for the other person yet!

WRONG!!! I have NEVER claimed that people who criticize Obama are racist!!! You find me one post or thread where I have stated that lie!!! I have some family and friends who DIDN'T vote for Obama....and they sure as hell aren't racist.....and I don't believe Shino has ever said that either.....so you are WRONG!!! The FACT is.....Obama to date has received more threats than any other past presidents....don't believe me? Then go google it for yourself!! 50? I'm sure George W. would have gotten more threats if not for the fact that people took his aptitude into account and figured he'd end up accidentally dying by choking on a pretzel and the threats would go to waste

spinkie, you have stood firm on the idea that most people that disagree with Obama is racist. All one needs to do is go back and read just about anything you posted during the election year or after he was elected . I went back and was seriously intending to link to a post or thread just like you told Ellen to do, but I figure it would just be easier to tell anyone interested to go back to anytime during election year in either the racism forums or the politics forums and read for them selves.

You have stated this lie several times and I have disputed it each time. This is the last I will respond to your lie. WHERE have I claimed that people that criticize the president are racists? Hmmmm?

All people like the two of us do- is to continue to fight against racism. The fact that I am 50 and you are younger points to a generational divide that YOU do not understand. I was alive when it was OK to be not only openly racist- but in some areas encouraged to be racist. When you have been alive long enough to see such things and then watch it go underground- it tells you to be ever alert to nip racism in the bud whenever it raises it's ugly head. The civil rights, the election of Obama does not just magically make deep seated racism disapear over night. To think so is naive. To attack those who have lived it and fight is to be aligning one's self with the enemy.
