A South Korean woman is celebrating after passing the written exam for a driving licence - on her 950th attempt.

After four years of trying, 68-year-old Cha Sa- soon finally managed to secure the 60 out of 100 points needed to pass the test.

The grandmother has spent morethan 5m won ($4,200, £2,600) on application fees for the test.

That's just weird. Does she have some kind of disability or something?

If she had that hard a time just with the written test, imagine what the "learning to drive" part will be like

is that 950 as in really 950 or like 950 won converted to 1 us dollar 950?

In other words: did she take the test 9 times but also fail to learn our numerical system?

is it possible she just doesn't know how to read?
I mean you really don't need to know how to read to drive. Reading makes it easier in new towns to follow a map or find streets, but other wise most road signs are pictures too.

Now that's what I called determination. The Korean lady deserves to be in Guiness book of record.

Good luck to her I'd say ...

Anything less than 950 attempts at the actual driving bit will be progress!

There should be a limit to how many times you can take the test! If it takes you that long to do the written test, what's she going to be like on the road?!
