Hey Captain Planet...... you might like to consider removing from your sample those girls who may have genuinely thought they were pregnant but weren't, so technically they weren't telling a lie.
That aside, speaking as one who can be a bit objective, standing to one side, as it were.......
I can empathise with women who may feel they want to do such a thing to "capture" a man they may feel tremendous emotion for but whom they feel doesn't love them.
There can be a form of argument that goes along the lines of "If I can get him to commit to me, he will come to love me in time". Personally, it's a wrong thing to do, is a hopelessly flawed rationale and it seldom works..... even when there genuinely is a baby involved. Having said that, I can see where they may be coming from, at a time when they may be emotionally not thinking straight.
Of course, it's terribly wrong for both parties. The man shouldn't feel emotionally blackmailed and the women shouldn't feel she has to stoop to such tactics. Sorry girls, but if this is what it takes to get him, then he's not worth it.
And if this is the only way you can make him love you, then you're not worth it.
Harsh..?
