i saw after i posted... that clarified some of it at least... i can't believe that a 7 month old could be in a box that long and still be content though... i mean, they get hungry, they get bored, they get lonely... and then they cry... that, among other obvious things about this story, baffles me a bit...

Nope. Still not sad. Feed the baby ice-cream until he is fat enough to eat meat.

Then teach him how to meditate.

Then teach him how to read. Then give him a bible.

Then give him roast potatoes and beef. With gravy. Then ice-cream.

Then bless him with the Holy Spirit. He'll be right. Just don't teach him that he is some kind of freak because of some spastic scenario in his youth.

you know, the main questions that always run through my head when i read crappy stories like this are pertaining to thought processes of those who committed these acts... i think more than i would want to comfort the kid (just in this case where the kid sounds okay), i would want to just sit down and talk with this 'babysitter' to try to understand how her mind works... does she feel regret? did she feel the kids deserved it? what was her reasoning behind doing the things she did? why did she even want another kid around? etc, etc, etc...

i would just like to try to fathom how their mind works, and how they justify such things well enough to continue contently about their lives... i think that it would be an interesting, and possibly illuminating, discussion...

Thats bang out I would hate to find a baby under my bed......unless I was playing hide and seek with my baby brother or if i was looking for a baby , i would be relieved.

Your surely not right in the head. Who in their right mind would do that to a child: make him fat,make him eat more food,why would you do that?

I think its a very sick joke that could offend people,although im not hurt by it I'm speaking for the people that are.

The cops that found her were pretty emotional. Very understandable, 'cause I'll bet a lot of the time a search they conduct doesn't have a happy ending. But the real question is definitely "Why?"
