I am really appauled by the insinuations of certain British newspapers made towards Angelina Jolie. They accused her of being a disloyal mother, taking more time for the set when in fact she was using it to give them a more comfortable life. It was piss poor of the media to disrespect a woman who is doing so much good for poverty stricken nations, not to mention save some of them by adopting some of them as her own.

That's what you get for being in the public eye though. For every dozen articles of praise for her charity work or films, there will be a dozen more written in a negative light. Them's the brakes.

With all the money and family she has I doubt she cares all that much.

The trouble is if we ignore negative criticism, we give the ones who make it the impression that there's no reason not to write it. We let them get away with this sort of thing and we really shouldn't.

The only people who read celebrity columns in the British press are stupid anyways.

Then I must have been really stupid too, right? Am I to be labelled as an idiot for noticing how in certain circles of British society lack the proper respect for another human being? That's the same as saying that Nazism is only represented by the National Front, so I shouldn't give a s*** about it.
