I'm really starting to hate that new firefly song. I've only heard it twice, but its getting on my nerves that everyone is singing it now.

I swear whoever sings/wrote that song has ripped the melody off from another song because I've heard that same tube before.

It's always a little daunting joining an established band on drums, as no two drummers are the same. And bits that you change, even though you've been granted the ability to do so, there's nothing you want to hear less than "you know I think it was better how it originally was"....well first rehearsal tonight...so here goes nothing.

On the other hand in the auditions, I changed a fair bit, and got the gig, so they must like my style right?

I was kicked out of my local library for moving all the bibles to the 'fiction' section.

Don't change your style or what you are comfortable playing. There are lots of legendary drummers who have never compromised their artistic integrity.

I can't stop listening to this song. I imagine that 2:27 sounds like the moment when you are about to die and you finally let go and your soul escapes and floats into the unknown. At least, that's what I hope it sounds like.
