You should. Sometimes it's honestly the best thing for the kid(s).
Believe it or not, not everyone is meant to be together forever. Marriage or not. If you aren't happy, it's totally unfair to both you and your partner to stay in the relationship, not to mention unfair for any kids ivvolved

After my parents split, my grades went up, my anxiety went down, and my mom and I's relationship was WAY better.
It's because the stress of them fighting was gone and there wasn't as much tension in the house.

Divorce isn't always this terrible, horrible thing.

Sometimes it's for the better, and some kids handle it better.

My biological mom is an unfit parent and she hasn't been in my life since I was 3. She's shown up on my door twice within the last 2 years, but it's out of her own selfishness jsut to see what I look like.

But you know what? I am WAY better off without her.

And just because you and your husband divorce, doesn't mean they won't see him again (actually because they're so young they might not even remember him; I don't remember anything of my biological mom).
However, it is your responsibility as their mother to do what's in their best intrest, and maybe he's not a fit parent.

And your kids aren't stupid.

They can tell when you're not happy and you're not doing them ANY favors by keeping it together when it's clear it's just not working.

I repeat: NO FAVORS.

My stress and anxiety was HORRIBLE when my parents were together.
Soon as they broke up, everything improved drastically.
