And the black people and chicken thing - from my perspective in the UK I understand this as a Deep South American, 'soul food' KFC association...? which seems to have spread over here via jokes and stuff, which makes the people telling these jokes look a bit stupid to me cos the majority of people I see in KFC are big lard-arsed white blokes on the verge of a coronary breakdown. Maybe they should rewrite the jokes they tell.

Saying that I could have it all completely wrong.

The origins of the association with black people and fried chicken have nothing to do with KFC.

Depends on where you are and who you know,for a White Aussie,but perfectly legal for the aboriginal community,they were eating it long before England invaded this country and claimed it for itself

The only truth is that they are local and available. If the stereotypes were based on fact- you would ONLY see people assigned to the stereotype eating their stereotypical foods. I eat about anything- however wild rice, walley, moose, real maple sugar, etc is normal where my family is from and would therefore be our stereotypical food.
