I dislike anime.

I hate everything Japanese. Very annoying, if you ask me. Just stating my opinion.

Chobits is an awesome anime ^^
It have a litttleeeee bit ecchi there but there's no hentai so don't worry

ohhh chobits tha was one of the first anime's i ever watched
the main girl chii, she is a persocome like a human computer and she will fall in love with the person who resuces her. which was hideki but she is dangerous if she falls in love she will unleash a program i have read all the manga and seen the anime and i loved it hehhee it was romantic and funny

Its based in japan were they're are thse computers (basically really lifelike robots) called persecoms. Hideki(main charactor) find chii in the trash, takes her home and teaches her things.

I won't say anything else about the plotline because it really is good. There are many pointless things and it is party sexually orientated(hideki has a lot of porn and is always commenting on boobs etc)

Seriously I got an english version shipped in from overseas and it cost me $120au but it was so worth it.

I overly reccomend it to anyone!

Chobits? I've seen the first few episodes but it didn't fit my taste. I do know a lot of people who are super fans of it but I can't understand them *yet*. It's about a boy who meets a cyborg girl or more like that. Others have stated better opinions.

It's a really cute anime, nice art, good story- I love it.

It's a great series and what really put Clamp on the map as a company.

Many people consider it a shojo but it's a seinen (basically means it's meant for men 18-30)

It tells the story of a guy who fails to get into college so he moves to Tokyo to go to school and study for the college entrance examines.
Since he comes from a small farming town he had never seen a persocom before and really wants one.
He ends up finding one in the trash but when he boots her up he discovers that she has no software installed except for a
learning program.
She starts off as a small child learning everything from scratch and she adores him.

He starts to fall in love with her because she's so sweet to him and he's never been around girls before (his being a virgin is brought up several times in the series). but he feels weird because she is computer.

The story progresses from there. There is nice character development and the art is pretty like most Clamp work.

I'd give it a solid 3.5 out of 5.

It's funny, a little silly, yet endearing.

You could probably find it online to dl or you could find it on ebay I'm sure.
The English dub isn't bad especially since Crispin Freeman is the voice of Hideki, but they did tone down some of the jokes so I suggest you watch it in the original Japanese.
