I've sent a cv to a company, and I used Works to type it. I've had an email back asking me to send it in a different format, Word, and I've had a mental block about how I change the document from one to the other. Please could somebody tell me how I do it before I go mad?

If you open the document and chose "Save As", then you will see an option dropdown that you can open and select what format you wish to save it in. Chose Word 2000, XP or whatever it says there and you should have it saved in Word. Best of Luck and hope it works for you.

Thanks MirLou. I've tried that now and they'll let me know at the other end if they can read it. Technofear.
