Remember the 1980's when the air traffic controllers went on strike?
The President held a national press conference and gave them 24 hours to return to work. The next day he held another press conference and announced that anyone who had failed to show up for work was now unemployeed and barred for life from any federal job.

I know there not allowed to strike , thats one reason I was confused.
and I wasnt here in 1980, I was born in 1986, so I dont remember to much about the 1980s.
