I moved to Canberra this year and even this place is to busy for me, dont think I could handle living in Sydney. Give me the country life anyday, siting on the Murray drinking tinnies all day then off the the pub without having to worry about f***ing dress codes.

Alice Springs is the place to be.

Laid back. Cops always busy with the natives. Sky is clear blue 85% of the time. And the town has an undercurrent of dysfunction that is beyond belief.

I recommend it.

God bless you.

Yes, Sydney is a very hectic city.
I'm from Perth originally but have lived in rural towns for the past couple of years.
Looking back now, even Perth was too fast paced for me, and thats a reasonably laid back town.
Now I live in a town in the wheatbelt, of 150 people, I love it here
