That's a pretty serious issue, Aly. There is an increasing trend amongst young males to persuade their girlfriends to pose for pictures with either very little on or nothing at all and then use them later for blackmail.
It harks back to another thread on this forum about how manipulative males can be (the thread about the man who told a woman he would be whatever she wanted him to be). Some males can be extremely calculating and will be the nicest thing on earth whilst manoeuvering a girl or woman to where he wants her, and then he reveals his true character when it suits him.
Many teenage girls, who are prepared to only go "so far" may see no harm in letting him take pictures, after all.... "He's really nice"...... "He respects me"..... He never tries to make me do anything I don't want to"...... "It's not like I'm sleeping with him"..... But once he's got those pictures on his mobile phone or computer, then they can become perfect blackmail material.
It's not just sexual favours they may demand, but some girls find themselves being coerced into providing false alibis to the police, or looking after stolen goods and other proceeds of crime and even to hide guns and knives that have been used in crimes / fights / you name it.
Compromising photographs can be a powerful weapon and can exert considerable force over a young adolescent girl...... He may put the idea into her head that if she doesn't do what he wants, he will post the pictures on paedophile sites. Yes, some boys will threaten that..!!
So, if you are a mature, adult woman who gets a buzz out of sending your pics out to complete strangers, then all good. If you're into that sort of exhibitionism, then it's your body you can do what you like with it and the possibility of blackmail is nil.
If, on the other hand, any male ever asks you to pose for pics or send him some, then my advice would be to drop him like a red hot brick. No matter how charming the chat or how gorgeous the smile.......
You never know what he's thinking.
