It seems to me having more than one type anti-virus, can make them interfer with each others functioning.

that's what I have to do

not all anti virus software picks up every virus there is out there...
i used malware bytes, im not sure if that would pick it up but its free and a good program to use. get it from download.com. see if it picks anything up. if not and it carries on then you could always ask a geeky friend about it. or restore your comp from a date before you started getting the problems
