we all have to be tested in our lives... we all have to go through some sort of hell and come out on the other side or fall trying... we all have to suffer and learn from that suffering... and even if we aren't faced with the kind of tangible trials that this life could throw at us, our mind will present us with its own obstacles... because part of the human existance is learning from pain; it's just something we all need to experience one way or another...

You gain the most endurance by walking uphill.

Every extremist on every side of every issue is generally wrong.

and then at the end there's a rainbow. Good s*** happens and then bad s*** happens and then you die. And the only thing you learn from it is s***--good or bad.

We do learn from pain your right, but sometimes what we learn can hold us back even more... sadly...IMO the biggest learning curve is discovering how not to let it leave a scar.

Without stress my life would be empty...

it's our chance to sink or swim... it sucks that some will inevitably sink, but it wouldn't really be a challenge if everyone got through it unscathed...

Scars are the merit badges of your growth!
To try and avoid scarring is a waste of effort, the trick is to wear them with pride, to learn the lesson and always remember it. If the lesson hurts you, then you have more to learn, it's a further challenge, accept it, revel in it, seize it with both hands, it means you can be an even fuller person.

S'all in how you look at it!
