they use trumpets and stuff like that and rock instruments it is kinda hard to tell for me to
No, real ska is Jamaican. They don't use "rock" instruments, they use instruments that are used in "rock", but in a manner that is completely different.

theres a bunch of good ska ones. operation ivy, mighty mighty bosstones, and big d and the kids table are good third wave ones. rancid is a good one too. you might want to try sublime, theyre kind of ska influenced. more reggae though. also, the specials are my favorite second wave ska band
Sublime is dub.

Not in a million years. Ska was the topic, not weak a** nu metal.

The Slackers, The Aggrolites, Westbound Train, Hepcat, Stubborn Allstars.
These are probably 5 of the best real ska bands in the last 10 years or more.
Good list of throw-backs, but you forgot the Scofflaws.
Personally, for me it's gotta be good old first wave, Ska, Blue Beat, and Rock Steady.
If you want to hear real ska try:
Prince Buster
Laurel Aitken
Clancey Eccles
The Skatalies
Desmond Dekker
Alton Ellis
Byron Lee
Don Drummond
Toots and The Maytals
The Ethiopians
