not a huge fan of ther architects but bmth is just not up to snuff. keep in mind that metal has become something of an american tradition i know a couple of people from Australia and after they moved here and went to a couple of metal shows with me they were floored at what the metal scene was like over here. there is just so much variety. And to all the nay sayers there is some good metal core but it is just hard to find and then bands like bmth makes all metal core bands look bad lol. i mean shadows fall is metalcore and they dont suck so much lol. this new breed though they call themselves death-core and it is just really f***ing terrible it kinda makes me want to vomit.

f*** off! Metal is only big in the US when its trendy to like s***e -core bands. Most US metal since the 80's has been commercial, generic s***e. Europe (especially the UK, scandanavia and germany) was, and is, the home of metal, and true metal has remained at a consistent level of popularity, even through the times of nu metal and metalcore.

Your Australian friends are only impressed because the metal scene in Australia must be pretty s***ty.

BMTH, as a band, aren't as bad as you all put out. And it's not their fault all their fans think they're "hardcore". It's because they toured with bands like The architects ( disgustingly bad hardcore imo) and Deez Nuts (not so bad), both hardcore bands, by the modern standards.

I think it's the fans that are the problem, and Oli Sykes. Yeah, him too.

Anyone else noticed that the rest of the band just don't seem to have a name. They're just "the rest of Bring Me The Horizon".

Disclaimer: Yeah, I know I didn't make it clear. But I don't like them. Nothing with breakdowns can be classed as music imo.
