Join Date: Jun 2007 | I was just thinking about this last night.
While the majority of people tend to write in the same unremarkable sort of way, there are a few distinct styles which are shared by a number of members.
For example, some people seem to write in a "stream of consciousness" sort of way, just a huge, incoherent paragraph with only elipses as punctuation as if they are transferring their thoughts directly into a post.
Some people tend go with sort of minimalistic one-liners meant to have a high impact with almost no effort or time consumption (Jonnythan and Tino spring to mind).
Others communicate almost entirely with smileys, which is just annoying. I can't really think of any others, apart a couple of unique styles, eg. Aquine's, where he sort builds a mental brick wall out of a few single lines, usually referrences to holy scripture, to protect his faith against the heathens, then ends with  God have mercy on your soul, or something like that. Also MartianLeader always ends with a link to an Adam-12 picture. |  | |

I'm one of a few that can take five-ten words and go on and on and on about the issue, saying things over and over again, rewording things the second and third time, in case you missed my point the first time, let me say it this way and you should get it, but if you missed it the second time I know damned well I don't wanna hear you say you didn't understand what I was talking about so I AM GOING TO EXPLAIN IT ONE MORE TIME a lil bit differently, a third
time, and any bozo by now should know what I'm talking about. The intelligent ones can stop reading once they get to my first explanation, others can go on as needed to the second or third explanationa.
