I agree that processors have reached their smallest by using 40nm or 45nm (I forget which) transistors. So I reckon Intel are just going to increase the number of Cores, but I expect IBM or AMD are going to find some way around this "wall".

32nm processors will be out soon, and i read that intel are looking to release 22nm processors by around 2011.

and if i have read right, they will also have integrated graphics.
