I have a blog, link [fluffybricks.blogspot.com] it's a blog about dollhouse miniatures. It's aimed at both dollhouse miniaturists, crafters, and people who just like awesome photos. I have almost 200 followers so far, but I only get about 3 comments a post and about 60 views a day. I'd love to get to a point where I get something like 10-30 comments a post. Or even better, more.
However I'm not sure how to get it to that point. I post up entries when I can. I ask questions. I comment on other people's blogs. I am actually advertising other people with every post, and very rarely get linked back or talked about. I'm on stumbleupon though no one seems to thumbs up me. I'm on twitter and tweet about it and follow people who I think would be interested in me. I've paid for ads via project wonderful. I'm a member of all the miniatures forums and communities I know of. I really need to get the word out to the *non* miniaturists. Where might I start do you think?

I go onto a site called Blogging Catalogue, which is where loads of different bloggers discuss their blogs and just general stuff like on TFS (TFS is better though!) and it gives you the chance to get your blog out there.

It's worked for me hits wise on my blog, so check it out if you think you need help with it.

Yeah I'm actually on that already actually! Unfortunately there's a huge habit on there to do follow for follow- and then not actually ever look at the ones you're following because you don't really care. But I'll give it another go soon. Thanks.

I guess yes, some people on it will be normal, non spammy people.
