So I was on Myspace, and this dude gave me some photo comments and messaged me with:

"Why are you so pretty and so alone?"



Idk, that just kinda sounds rude of someone to ask. Granted, I know he said I was pretty, but... ? Like, how do I respond to that?
I don't think I'd ask someone why they're "so alone".

Or am I reading WAY to far into that?

it reminds me of this episode of george lopez where hillary duff appears.. you give a compliment and then you take it away.

That kinda sounds like the "how could someone like you not have a boyfriend" line. It's generally rhetorical and usually given as a compliment.

Perhaps it's a pick up line? Like "damn girl you're gorgeous, you shouldn't be single HINT HINT ME ME!!"

Or maybe he's two or three times your age, and faking it!
If he doesn't speak the right way, the odds are he's a ringer!
Follow your instincts, if it feels odd, run!
