This economy is just re-enforcing my reason for staying in the military for the full 20 years...guaranteed retirement check...none of this 401k crap

I'm guaranteed half of my final pay check for life from the age of 40 til i die

Don't get too depressed about your 410K now if you have over 15 years until you retire. The market will fluctuate so much over the next years that you can't sit there and dwell on it now. I feel sorry for the people who are going to retire in the next couple of years.
