The people standing in the World Trade Center clapping their hands and have a great big smile on their faces. What does this mean ? Some may say Invest more money, others may say buyer beware. What message is Wall Street communication, by ringing the Bell ?

Ringing the bell at the opening and closing of trading at the NYSE is just that ... it signals the start and end of trading. It is a fairly new ritual and has no deeper meaning other than the kudos attached to doing the deed.

They only seem to show this party when it appears the stock prices is up.
