90% of scams originate from Nigeria, the last time I checked.

i posted a topic about the top ten internet scams, and this is number one, its called the nigeria scam, or 419

Too often, users believe that computers are some sort of
a magic box that can solve any problem. In reality,
computers merely do repetitive tasks very quickly.

Some of them thinks not all readers are smart enough to know.. Sometimes they sell everything they have just to get the price.. Thats the power of reading and undertsanding things before jumping into it..

I get these types of emails through my Yahoo account almost everyday. So, what I do is, show the full headers, then select all of the email's body of text. Then I press control C to copy it to the clipboard, then press the "Forward" button, put my cursor in the body of the forward email, press control A, then delete, then control V to paste the full headers and email into the forwarding email and send it to the following US Security email addresses:

phishing-report@us-cert.gov

reportphishing@antiphishing.org

Hopefully, doing this will help crack down on scammers such as these.

Im sick of getting emails like this, i seem to get one everday, people must be really stupid if they fail for email scams like this

Treat these letters as jokes tough they are not. Laugh these out and consign them to Trash. I worked on the Board of Directors for my company in Nigeria on a Joint Project. When the project took root, the Nigerian Directors highjacked my company under my very nose and the American partners lost One Million Dollars in a flash!! We took them to courts, but we found our Nigerin Lawyers were working with the enemy. Ultimately we had to back out with our losses including the Lawyer fees.
