Tsar Nikolai ordered Cossacks to attack the peasants who were begging for bread outside the
Winter Palace in 1905!
Your attempt to make Nikolai the victim of evil ministers is a fairy tale,as is your attempt to make the Tsar wholly not responsible for the attrocities of his regime!

I'm saying that he wasn't responsible for it, I'm saying that in the world that he lived in, it just wasn't talked about. Also, Nicholas and his familly were not in the Winter Palace in 1905. Alexei's haemophilia had taken a turn and the Tsar and Tsarina were by his bedside. He didn't learn about the massacre until after the fact. It's a common misconception

The money spent on just one Faberge egg for Alexandra would have been enough for how many loaves of bread?

Not if he didn't know about it. He didn't know what happened until after the fact and was upset about it. The misconception at the time was that it was on his orders since most Russians did not know about the haemophilia, or that Alexei almost died that day and believed that he had been in the palace the whole time, sparking the 1905 revolution. And they weren't begging for bread, they had a petition for the Tsar asking him to end the war with Japan and detailing the problems which the poor of Russia suffered daily, asking him for help. He never saw the marchers and he never saw the petition.

Ah. But it was unseemly for the aristocracy to ask the price of anything, something similar to what happened to the French before their revolution. The difference here being that Louis and his court knew about the situation of the French peasants and continued with their ways.

I don't think he was an innocent lamb. It was disgusting they way they lived compared to the lives of the ordinary people but he didn't know any other way and he'd been raised to believe that there was no other way. The repression of the poor had been indoctrinated in it.
