it is in poland. in the boy in the striped pyjamas they moved from berlin to poland.
i am thinking of taking my children to visit it. i think it would be a huge learning curve for them and make them a bit more appreciative of what they have got and how they live.
my oldest son studied it at school and was very moved by it all

I've been to dauchau (spelling ) with my school once but i wouldn't go to a death camp, just too creepy, yes we need to remember but not through fear

i havnt been their but i have been to an underground military hospital in gurnsey, it was really creapy (this was the closest the germans got to britain, a little island just off of us) and that was only the hospital. i have seen pictures and heard stories of what happened in concentration camps but it would be interesting to go to one.
